Fast answers. Clear policies. No fluff.
Yes! BAMBUM is 4-ply, ultra-premium, and over 58 GSM, meaning it’s thicker, softer, and stronger than most leading brands. It delivers luxury comfort without bleach, toxins, or harsh chemicals, proving that eco-friendly can also mean ultra-premium quality.
Bamboo toilet paper is made from fast-growing, renewable bamboo instead of trees. Bamboo regenerates in just 3–5 years (trees take 20–50 years to grow) and require far less water and land. Bamboo fibers are naturally soft, strong, and hypoallergenic, making it better for you and the planet.
Traditional toilet paper is made by cutting down 27,000 trees every single day—trees that take decades to grow and are destroyed just to be flushed away. Bamboo grows up to 30x faster, uses 90% less water, and regenerates without replanting. It’s the sustainable choice without sacrificing comfort.
Every box of BAMBUM helps reduce deforestation, save water, and protect wildlife habitats. By switching, you’re preventing thousands of trees from being cut down for single-use paper. Bamboo gives more back to the Earth — releasing more oxygen and absorbing more carbon than most trees. Crafted from 100% FSC®-certified bamboo, BAMBUM stands as your renewable ally for a cleaner future.
Most toilet paper is made from virgin tree pulp, chlorine bleach, and a cocktail of hidden chemicals — including PFAS, formaldehyde, dyes, and artificial softeners. These additives can irritate sensitive skin, contaminate waterways, and linger in the environment long after you flush. And behind every roll lies a deeper cost: deforestation, carbon emissions, and the loss of vital forest ecosystems.
Yes! BAMBUM is 100% biodegradable and septic safe, breaking down quickly and safely in all plumbing systems. It’s perfect for every home, including those with septic tanks.
Absolutely. Bamboo requires up to 90% less water to grow compared to trees used for toilet paper. It also regenerates naturally without pesticides or fertilizers, making it an eco-friendly choice from start to finish.
Change doesn’t start in boardrooms... it starts in bathrooms. Bamboo regenerates in months and traps carbon in its roots while forests recover. The only one who can fight climate change is you. For every five households that switch to bamboo, we preserve over a hundred trees and stop hundreds of kilograms of CO₂ from being released into the air each year.
BAMBUM is naturally hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and toxin-free. No bleach. No chlorine. No PFAS. Just soft, safe comfort for every family member—even babies and those with sensitive skin. No Formaldehyde.
A lot more than you think. Toilet paper alone consumes over 27,000 trees every day worldwide. If even one in ten households switched to bamboo, we could keep millions of those trees standing — preserving the carbon they store, the habitats they protect, and the oxygen they produce. Every box of BAMBUM helps stop deforestation, cut industrial emissions, and restore balance to the planet’s carbon cycle.
Real change doesn’t start somewhere else — it starts with you. Switch to bamboo. Inspire five more households. Together, we can rewrite the story of paper and the planet.
Our bamboo comes from sustainably managed bamboo forests grown by local farmers who have been working with bamboo for generations.
It’s sourced from Chishui City, a beautiful region in western China where bamboo has been thoughtfully cultivated since the 1970s. The area is home to hundreds of bamboo species and more than 220,000 acres of thriving bamboo forest, making it one of the world’s most established bamboo-growing regions. Bamboo paper production has been part of the local economy there since the 1980s.
For BAMBUM toilet paper, we use a specific bamboo species called Neosinocalamus affinis — a fast-growing bamboo known for producing soft, strong fibers that are gentle on skin and kind to the planet.
At BAMBUM, choosing bamboo isn’t just about sustainability — it’s about working with nature in places where it already thrives.
No — protecting panda habitats is very important to us.
The bamboo we use is harvested from managed bamboo plantations, not from wild or natural panda habitats. These plantations are specifically grown for paper production by local farmers.
We also use a bamboo species called Neosinocalamus affinis, which is not the species eaten by giant pandas. Pandas rely on different types of bamboo found in protected, natural forests, while our bamboo is cultivated separately for sustainable use.
In short: our bamboo sourcing does not compete with panda food sources or disrupt panda ecosystems.
BAMBUM products are manufactured at a specialized bamboo paper facility located close to the bamboo plantations, which helps minimize transportation distances and reduce associated carbon emissions.
Our manufacturing partner operates in the area of Chengdu, a region with decades of experience in bamboo processing and paper production. Producing paper close to the source allows for better material control, improved efficiency, and a lower environmental footprint compared to conventional wood-pulp paper manufacturing.
The facility has been in continuous operation for over 20 years, is ISO 9001 certified, and spans more than 30,000 square meters. A team of 100+ skilled professionals focuses exclusively on bamboo paper products, following established quality-management and process-control systems.
BAMBUM works with partners that prioritize:
-consistent product quality and safety
-responsible sourcing from managed plantations
-modern manufacturing practices aligned with international standards
While our products are made in China, they are produced at the origin of the bamboo, using proven processes, experienced teams, and globally recognized quality systems — ensuring reliability, traceability, and performance you can trust.
Yes — BAMBUM is safe for septic tanks and septic fields.
It's 100% natural and biodegradable, and it can actually break down more quickly than some wood-pulp toilet papers that use "wet-strength" additives.
